For over three decades, CJF – Child and Junior Fashion has established itself as the leading international exhibition for children’s fashion in Russia and the wider Eurasian region. Organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and held under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event serves as the essential professional platform for brands, manufacturers, and buyers in the children’s clothing and footwear industry.

Event Overview

CJF is held twice a year, with both spring and autumn editions. The 36th edition (Autumn 2026) is scheduled to take place from September 16 to 18, 2026, at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow (Pavilion 2, Hall 9). The 35th spring edition was successfully held from 17–19 February 2026 at the Timiryazev Centre.

Exhibition Scale and Participation

The spring 2026 edition featured 120 exhibitors from 7 countries: Russia, Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan. The exhibition area covered 2,500 net square metres, with approximately 100 Russian companies participating alongside international brands including Tugi, Herdal, Unicorn, Dr. Junior, and Viollen.

The autumn edition typically draws even larger participation. The 2025 autumn show welcomed more than 15,000 specialists from across Russia and abroad, demonstrating the event’s significant industry reach. Turkey has notably participated as a country pavilion, presenting diverse collections from school uniform to outerwear and footwear.

The exhibition covers the full spectrum of the children’s fashion industry, organised into clear product sectors:

  • Clothing for Children: Everyday wear, formal attire, and seasonal collections
  • Footwear for Children: A wide range of shoes for all ages
  • Accessories for Children: Bags, hats, and complementary items
  • Premium Segment: High-end clothing brands
  • Teens: Fashion collections specifically for teenagers

CJF. Children’s Catwalk Fashion Shows

A signature feature of the exhibition is the CJF. Children’s Catwalk—a runway programme that brings together the best Russian and international brands to present seasonal collections. The fashion shows showcase school uniforms, sportswear, outerwear, footwear, and accessories for children of all ages, with participation from both established brands and promising young designers.

The spring 2026 edition featured a special Fashion Show of Debutantes, ‘The Legends of Russia’, devoted to the Year of Unity of the People of Russia, where students and teachers of the First Moscow Educational Complex presented collections inspired by folk tales.

Conference Programme and Industry Discussions

CJF features a substantial business conference programme with over 40 events addressing critical industry issues. Topics covered include:

  • Legislative updates on taxation and textile labelling
  • E-commerce strategies for marketplaces
  • Workforce development in the light industry
  • Career guidance and youth recruitment in fashion manufacturing

In 2025, the spring exhibition included a session on “Career Guidance in the Light Industry” chaired by Yana Lantratova, First Deputy Chair of the Russian State Duma Committee on Education. The EXPO-Accelerator project, initiated by EXPOCENTRE, helps young talents connect with industry opportunities through collaborations with leading universities and colleges.

Regional and International Participation

The exhibition has strong support from Russian regional development centres. In 2025, companies from 12 Russian regions participated, including Mari El, Tatarstan Republic, Krasnodar, Primorsky Krai, Kirov, and Tula Oblasts. The Moscow Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry also arranged group showcases of regional manufacturers.

International participation remains robust. The spring 2026 edition featured a Turkish country pavilion, while Chinese, Belarusian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, and Uzbek companies were also well represented. The exhibition attracts professional visitors from 19 countries and all regions of Russia.

CJF – Child and Junior Fashion is the unrivalled meeting point for the children’s fashion community in Russia and the CIS. Whether for sourcing new collections, discovering emerging designers, or staying ahead of market trends, this event remains an essential date on the industry calendar. The 2026 autumn edition promises to continue this tradition of excellence, providing a comprehensive platform for business development in this dynamic sector.
