Rosplast

Russia’s Premier Exhibition for Plastics Industry Equipment and Materials

Plastics are the foundation of modern manufacturing. From automotive components and medical devices to food packaging and construction profiles, plastic products are everywhere. In Russia, one exhibition has become the central gathering point for this vital industry: Rosplast. As the country’s largest international exhibition for plastics manufacturing equipment and materials, Rosplast is held annually at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow, providing an unrivalled platform for businesses across the entire production chain.

Exhibition Overview and History

Rosplast, the International Exhibition for Equipment and Materials for the Production of Plastic Products, was first held in Moscow in 2010 and has since successfully run for more than ten editions. The 15th edition took place in June 2025 at Crocus Expo, while the 16th edition, scheduled for June 2026, will expand to four days at the same venue.

A distinctive feature of Rosplast is its co-location with two complementary exhibitions: Rosmould, dedicated to mould and die manufacturing, and 3D-TECH, focused on additive manufacturing. Together, the three events form a complete production chain: from product design and mould development to prototyping, mass production, and finished goods. This combination offers visitors a true one-stop solution for industrial manufacturing.

Venue and Scale

Rosplast is held in Pavilion 1 of Crocus Expo. According to the post-show report for 2025, the three co-located exhibitions occupied four halls within this pavilion, covering a total area of 18,000 square metres. The event brought together 455 exhibitors from 9 countries and welcomed 12,043 professional visitors from 28 countries.

The halls are organised thematically to help visitors navigate efficiently:

  • Hall 1: Rosplast – Raw Materials and Materials
  • Hall 2: 3D-TECH – 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing
  • Hall 3: Rosmould – Moulds and Dies
  • Hall 4: Rosplast – Equipment and Technology

This logical zoning allows visitors to focus on their specific areas of interest, whether they are searching for raw material suppliers or evaluating production machinery.

Product Range

Rosplast covers the complete plastics industry value chain across five main categories:

Raw Materials and Compounds: Thermoplastic polymers, engineering plastics, composites and blends, elastomers and rubbers, masterbatches and colorants, special additives (plasticisers, stabilisers, fillers), and biodegradable materials.

Equipment and Technology: Injection moulding machines, extrusion lines and extruders, blow moulding machines, thermoforming machines, auxiliary equipment (loaders, dosers, dryers, silos), temperature control and cooling systems, screws, barrels, moulds, and spare parts.

Production Automation: Automation and production management systems, industrial robots and manipulators, equipment diagnostic and monitoring systems, conveyors, turntables and weighing systems, and IML/IMD labelling and decoration technologies.

Contract Manufacturing: Containers and packaging production, consumer goods, housing parts and electrical products, construction materials (pipes, profiles, sheets), automotive components, medical devices, toys and handicrafts, stationery, and sports equipment.

Recycling and Regeneration: Plastic recycling equipment, crushers and shredders, sorters and granulators, washing and drying systems, and waste plastic treatment and utilisation.

Exhibitors and Visitor Profile

Rosplast attracts many of the leading names in the plastics industry. The 2025 exhibitor list included well-known brands such as Jwell, Sabic, Yizumi, LK Machinery, Moretto, and Babyplast Russia, alongside companies from Russia, Belarus, China, India, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Turkey, and Germany. Notably, foreign exhibitors accounted for 49 per cent of participants, while new exhibitors represented 50 per cent of the total.

On the visitor side, 64 per cent of attendees came to Rosplast specifically to find new suppliers and products. Thirty-nine per cent travelled from regions outside Moscow and Moscow Oblast. Visitors represented a wide cross-section of industries, including mechanical engineering, packaging, consumer goods, automotive, electronics, chemicals, construction, medical, aerospace, energy, and agriculture.

Business Programme: PlastForum

Rosplast is more than a product exhibition; it is a forum for ideas and industry dialogue. The concurrent PlastForum provides a rich programme of conferences, roundtables, and networking events.

The 2025 PlastForum agenda included:

  • A plenary session titled “Plastics Business in Russia: Practices and Effective Tools for Public-Private Support of Enterprises”
  • An industry meeting organised by the Union of Plastic Processors on the outcomes of the plastics processing industry in the context of ecology
  • Specialised sessions hosted by NPP Poliplastik, including an industry breakfast and conference
  • A roundtable discussion for participants in the robotics technology market
  • A contract manufacturing conference focused on “From Idea to Mass Production”

The Synergy with Rosmould and 3D-TECH

The co-location of Rosplast with Rosmould and 3D-TECH creates a unique offering in the Russian market. Each exhibition addresses a different link in the manufacturing chain:

  • Rosmould, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025, is the only exhibition in Eastern Europe dedicated exclusively to moulds, dies, and tooling.
  • Rosplast covers plastics processing equipment and materials.
  • 3D-TECH focuses on industrial additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies.

Together, the three events span the entire journey from concept design and mould development to prototype validation and mass production. This synergy allows visitors to address all their production-related needs in a single location, saving time and maximising the value of their attendance.

Focus on Recycling and Sustainability

In recent editions, Rosplast has placed increasing emphasis on plastics recycling and sustainable manufacturing. The recycling and regeneration section of the exhibition has grown significantly, reflecting both regulatory pressure and changing market expectations. Equipment for shredding, washing, sorting, and granulating plastic waste is prominently featured, alongside discussions on circular economy principles and extended producer responsibility.

This focus aligns with broader trends in the Russian plastics industry, where manufacturers are seeking to reduce waste, improve material efficiency, and comply with evolving environmental regulations.

Looking Ahead to 2026

The 16th edition of Rosplast, scheduled for June 2026, promises several notable developments:

  • Extended Duration: For the first time, the exhibition will run for four days, from 16 to 19 June, allowing more time for networking, product demonstrations, and business negotiations.
  • Expanded Scope: Rosplast 2026 will be held concurrently with Techtextile | Techcomposite | Techpolymer, an exhibition focused on industrial textiles, composites, and polymers. This addition will further broaden the range of materials and technologies on display.
  • Complete Production Chain: The exhibition will continue its co-location with Rosmould and 3D-TECH, presenting the full manufacturing journey from design to finished product.
